You will be part of our Client Engagement unit responsible for market positions and reach, client relationships and customer experience as well as vision. The team supports Sales in all client-facing activities, drives innovative concepts for marketing & sales of the future and harmonizes the user experience across a smart and connected customer journey.

Job Responsibilities

Growing market position, developing new relationships, analyzing competitors

  • Seeking for business opportunities as well as establishing and growing a profitable market position
  • Leveraging existing contacts and developing new relationships across the industry
  • Conducting market research by analyzing competitors and product competitiveness, identifying new potential markets, determining solution and product strategies and implementing new business models and partner networks
  • Developing, implementing and executing the marketing strategy by collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring newest technology and market trends with regard to further enhancements and potential opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients to prepare tailored solutions for the client's business challenges
  • Ensure communication flow and cross-departmental alignment during bidding process with focus on multi-stakeholder customer engagements
  • Coordinate the interplay between sales and production by defining and enforcing standard methodologies

Requirements

University Degree, Work experience as a Business Development Manager, Affinity for newest technology

  • University degree in business studies, engineering or in similar specialization
  • Preferably work experience as Business Development Manager or in a similar position in a relevant business area such as in the Transportation & Mobility (Automotive), Consumer Goods or Aerospace & Defense sector
  • Affinity and passion for technology and newest trends
  • Strong self-confidence in communicating with stakeholders at different management levels
  • Ability to understand technically complex contexts as well as to consolidate and to present those on different stakeholder levels
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities as well as abstract and structured thinking
  • Self-reliant, solution-oriented way of working
  • Willingness to travel; domestic or international travelling may take up to 25% of the working hours
  • Fluent in English, German and/or French language skills are a plus
